Happy Easter Sunday!

I went for mass today. Cause my cousins said it was a special day for their church, a pope or bishop is coming to their church as their church name kinda symbolize what Easter Sunday meant. Which is Church of the Risen Christ.
Yups, Its the day where Christ was revive/reborn/risen and mother mary stop mourning. Not that I'm being religions or anything, I'm a free thinker, I believe in anything, but not in the naive sorta way. I think its cool. Going to church, temples, mosque(i've only been there once, long story). Learning the different religions, how people miraculously survive some incurable illness, when there's no scientific prove on how they recover, be it god or psychologically, they did recover. I just believe there's someone out there looking out for us.
Alright enough of the religions talk, lets talk about EGGS! Well since its Easter lets have an EGG-CITING SPECIAL! I'll tell you about my favorite egg dish! So... Here's egg-testant no.1
The Century Egg!

Yups! This black gooey core covered in jelly is actually an egg!

Some of you guys might not be such a huge fan of this due to the unique taste it has. These chicken eggs are actually coated with ash(?) and buried underground to ferment. Thus this known delicacy to most asians is born! Maybe its because it's tanning underground, minus the UV rays(?). I dont know, it has to be some chemical reaction thingy going on. Oh, did i mention that in the past people actually used horse urine to ferment it -eww, glad that i'm born in this era-
It kinda leaves a pungent aftertaste if eaten by itself. So I'll usually eat it with pickled ginger or cook it with porridge. Its the EGG of the CENTURY!!! get it? hahahahaha.
And now for eeg-testant no. 2!!!
Egg McMuffin!!!!
Its the world wide sensation fast food restaurant's breakfast! I love how the egg cooked in a perfectly round shape and its not so gooey yolk. Though plenty prefer Sausage Egg McMuffin, with the extra "URMPH!" of the sausage. I love their patties~ ba la ba ba ba~ I'm lovin it~ Teehee.
And last but not least The Most Favorite Egg-testant of all time, I give you...KINDER SURPRISE!
Yes, Kinder surprise, every little kids dream treat. We'll always look for those eggs that are not deformed and slowly unwrap the thin aluminum foil that devoid us off this piece of heaven- like hello, we were still kids at that time anything will make us happy- Then we'll examine this sweet little piece of art and crack the thin layer into halves. Then we toss the chocolate aside and open what's inside the yellow/orange capsule. Well, its true. When we are done playing with what ever surprise thats inside, we'll then enjoy the sweet thin layer of delicious milk/white chocolate. hmmm... yummy...
They dont produce these anymore, which is a huge boohoo. Not that i didn't like the newly repackaged one. It's just that you don't feel the surprise like we used to feel. Maybe its because of contamination or stuff... But still...

Well it's uber fun posting, being able to share what i love with you guys. So leave me a comment and tell me what's your favorite egg dish. Till then~ Tatas~
